“Aurora, IL., June 6th 2010 –Supreme Promotions brings cage fighting to Americas Historic Roundhouse in downtown Aurora on June 6th, 2010.

“Rumble at the Roundhouse” is an amateur mixed martial arts event that will showcase local athletes in the heart of historic Aurora.   MMA is the fastest growing sport in America.

Supreme Promotions founders Jim Jackson and Nic Thompson want Aurora fans to experience the high energy and quality sportsmanship of these homegrown athletes.  Jackson is a Joliet businessman and Thompson is a heavyweight mma fighter.  They joined forces to bring amateur contests to the surrounding areas.  The Historic Roundhouse was a natural venue choice according to Jackson. What a way to take in a great event on a summer night in a outdoor venue.   “We are excited to offer quality fights in an elegant environment.  The fans will be comfortable and will be able to take advantage of the Historic Roundhouse, for a wonderful menu as well as quality entertainment .”

“Rumble at the Roundhouse” will feature fighters from Team No Ego out of Plainfield, Illinois,  as well as several training camps in the surrounding area.  Team No Ego trainer Dennis Hughes is pumped up about introducing his fighters in a local event.  “People don’t realize that there is enormous talent at the amateur level,” Hughes said, “Most spectators will be surprised to see that local competitions will rival anything that they see on TV.”
