MMAJunkie.com announced today that a November 7th Strikeforce clash between the world’s #1 Heavyweight, Fedor Emelianenko, and challenger Brett Rogers, is in the process of being approved by the Illinois Athletic Commission. The event will be held at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates.

The card will also feature a Middleweight Title bout betten Jake Shields and Jason “Mayhem” Miller. Also speculated to be on the card are rising star and Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion Gegard Mousasi as well as Female 145 lb Champion Cris “Cyborg” Santos.
